Basis for comparison for all claims is versus unadditized diesel. Fuel economy and tailpipe CO₂ emissions testing was performed at independent testing labs in the UK and US using on-road third-party customer trucks using our first generation detergent additive package. Our new second generation detergent additive package is expected to have similar or better cleaning performance compared to the first generation additive package based on internal and/or third-party engine/vehicle testing and laboratory testing. Actual results may vary based on factors such as vehicle type, engine type, driving behavior, and other factors. Mobil Diesel Efficient fuel may be used in other heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles, but 2% average fuel economy improvement claim does not apply.
