*Exxon and Mobil Diesel Efficient fuel claims are based on internal and/or third-party engine/vehicle testing, laboratory testing, and/or industry or other scientific literature. Basis for comparison for all claims is versus unadditized diesel. Fuel economy and tailpipe CO2 emissions testing was performed at independent testing labs in the UK and US with heavy duty engines meeting US EPA 2010, Euro V, and/or Euro III emission regulations using on-road third-party customer trucks and our first generation detergent additive package. Our upcoming second generation detergent additive package is expected to have similar or better cleaning performance than that of the first generation additive package if compared in the same engine/vehicle type with the same test protocol. Actual results may vary based on factors such as vehicle type, engine type, driving behavior, and other factors. Exxon and Mobil Diesel Efficient fuel may be used in other heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles, but 2% average fuel economy improvement claim does not apply. Concentration and availability of our proprietary first and second generation additive packages may vary.
